The check of usefulness of the functioning and substitution of the block of the sensor of the instrument of measuring of the temperature of cooling the liquid

The device of the indication of the temperature of cooling the liquid is composed of the car of the instrument of measuring and the sensor of the temperature installed in the block of motor, straightly under the distributor of ignition that is built in in a policeman of instrument (to see an illustration I lower).


 ORDER OF REALIZATION

1. If the instrument of measuring to show to overheat even in the motor inequivocamente coldly, is necessary to check an electrical system between the panel and the sensor of the temperature of the existence of signs of the short circuit.
2. If the instrument of measuring not to work in absolute, checks a condition of his electric outline, having put in short circuit quickly in the weight the wire that goes to the temperature sensor in the included ignition (the motor must not be begun). If the arrow of the indicator to turn away up to the end of a scale, substitutes the sensor. If the arrow property remains, check an electrical system of chain of instrument of measuring the interval.

Try not to touch supporter's blades of system of cooling that can be lit even in the dead motor!


3. The absence of the confidence in the usefulness of the sensor of the temperature, measures his electric resistance in the coldness and in the hot motor. The resistance of the sensor has to be modified in the reverse proportion to the measurement of the temperature and in the cold motor (below of 55 °C) to do approximately 140 ohms. In the process of a motor that heats the resistance of the sensor it will lessen gradually and in a temperature of 86 °C to get the value in the variety of 30÷46 Ohms.
4. Since the substitution of the sensor of the temperature only results from the motor and quickly it twists in the new launched opening which woodcarving must be polished with the selante previously. Be prepared to join the spilled liquid. Having substituted the sensor, check that the level of cooling the liquid, in case of the necessity they do the corresponding agreement (to see the Front Regular maintenance).

The substitution of the sensor of the temperature has to be done in the cold motor!
